Overview

Should I Be Worried? operates shouldibeworried.org. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information we collect

  • --Email address -- if you voluntarily subscribe for updates. We use this only to send conflict-related briefings. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • --Usage data -- anonymized analytics including pages visited, time on site, and general location (country/region). We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.
  • --Query content -- when you submit a conflict and situation for analysis, this is sent to Anthropic API to generate a response. We do not store your queries.
  • --Account data -- if you create an account, your email and account details are managed by Clerk. If you upgrade to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

We also use Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymized, aggregated usage data with no personally identifiable information.

Third-party services

  • --Anthropic -- AI analysis powered by Claude, subject to Anthropic Privacy Policy.
  • --Clerk -- authentication and account management.
  • --Stripe -- payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
  • --Resend -- email subscription management.
  • --Google AdSense -- advertising served by Google.

Data retention

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Account data is retained until you delete your account. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your email from our subscriber list at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data.
